EASY TERIYAKI SALMON

Teriyaki Salmon Rice Bowls
INGREDIENTS
*NOTE: Prep time does not include marinating time*

  1. 1 tablespoon oil
  2. 4 salmon filets, skinless
  3. 1 clove garlic, minced
  4. ½ teaspoon ginger, minced
  5. ¼ cup low sodium soy sauce (It is important to use low sodium. I find regular makes the sauce too salty)
  6. ⅛ cup water
  7. 2-3 tablespoons brown sugar (depending on how sweet you like it)
  8. 1 tablespoon rice wine vinegar
  9. 1 teaspoon sesame oil
  10. 1 teaspoon cornstarch
  11. 1 tablespoon water
  12. green onions for garnish, if desired
  13. sesame seeds for garnish, if desired
